PEMF technology is subtle. So how do you know that it’s working its benefits on you?
Franz gives you a magnet to test that the mat is in good working order, but you can’t really feel anything, not even the pulsating electromagnetic field that you lie on.
But your health begins to improve over time! Yes, your pain might disappear in a few days, but unless you continue long-term, it can come back again.
Remember, this is not a quick fix. You don’t just lie on it and overnight see improvements. You have to sleep on it every night for several hours over several months or more to see results. In fact, the improvements were so subtle, I didn’t even notice them until one day, I asked myself what has changed?
The answer? No pain!
First I noticed that my resistance to food intolerances had noticeably improved. And later, the occurrence of pain in my knees due to neuropathy had gradually become farther and farther spaced apart, until my knees simply stopped hurting. Before, I had trouble navigating stairs or bending down to tie my shoelaces. Now, those are a thing of the past!
My advice would be to keep a journal to track your progress. Start your therapy with just an hour and slowly build up to a few hours for the first week. After that you can sleep with it overnight. Keep a journal on how you feel and note any set backs or improvements over time.
As with any therapy, you will experience ups and downs. I found I had good days and bad days with my neuropathy. My worst days were during cold rainy winter days, and I would spend extra time with heat therapy from my Healthyline mat to offset these.
Summer days were my best when I felt less pain.
Even so, note what foods, not just temperature, could impact how you feel. Track your changes, no matter how subtle, because PEMF does NOT produce sudden changes. Most of these changes are very gradual, as your body takes time to heal.
But when you track these changes in a journal, you can actually look back in hindsight to see how far you have come. I have even used a scale of 1-10 measuring how I feel on any particular day. I found most of my pain would occur in the evening rather than in the day, or when I was tired, or even with certain foods that I consumed.
Some days it may seem you are not experiencing much progress with your health. But with a journal, you can go back to different periods in time and see how far you have come and the improvements you have made. Then you realize how much your investment in time, energy and money has made this all the more worthwhile!
